Observe 50th anniversary of Civil Rights Act with Freedom Riders Thursday, March 20

Experience the incredible true story of Freedom Rider Joan Trumpauer Mulholland's courage to help change the world and see why The National Civil Rights Museum declared, "This film belongs alongside those of other freedom rights champions."

Join Mulholland, civil rights activist Dorie Ladner, Freedom Rider Reginald Green and writer/director Loki Mulholland for a screening of the documentary "An Ordinary Hero: The True Story of Joan Trumpauer Mulholland” followed by a panel discussion at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 in the National Press Club conference rooms.

The event will mark the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
