-- Angela Greiling Keane, Membership Secretary

Kristin Coyner, a staff writer at Congressional Quarterly, became an NPC member this month in the under-30 category. Her primary duty is covering Washington hires and promotions for CQ Weekly.

Coyner graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2009 with degrees in government and biology. Immediately after leaving college she was a fellow and an editorial intern at Roll Call.

Coyner on why she joined the National Press Club: "NPC membership is all about possibilities: from the array of professional programs to the in-house gym, it's a great resource for young journalists just starting their careers."
