Looking for the best coverage of defense, aerospace, the airline industry

Journalists who write about aerospace, defense and the airline industry should consider competing for the Michael A. Dornheim Award.

This award, part of the National Press Club Awards contest, is presented in celebration of the career of the late Michael A. Dornheim, a longtime reporter and editor at Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine.

Those who enter can offer up to 6 examples of their work for print or online.

The prize for the winning entry is $1000.

The deadline to submit entries is April 1, and the contest is open to Club members and non-members. Offering entries is free for Club members, and costs $50 for non-members.

For the first time entries may be submitted online or by mail. For more information about the awards, which include competition for breaking news, photos, politics, animal issues, press coverage, consumer news and online coverage, click here.
