Last chance to register: Developing credible content amid ‘fake news,’ Oct. 18

Leading experts will share insights on producing content suited to the unique strengths of different digital, online and social media channels, as well as emerging technologies, at the National Press Club Communicators Summit on Wednesday, Oct. 18.

The sponsors of the event, “Content is King,” stress that it also is open to the Club's journalist members, who may find the program of interest. It will center on the challenges of developing credible and compelling content at a time when trust in corporations, government, non-governmental organizations and the media is being tested more than any time in a generation.

All Club members are invited. Admission is $50 for Club members and $75 for guests. Schedule, speaker lineup and registration are available online.

Richard Edelman, president & CEO of the public relations company Edelman, will share his unique perspective on challenges facing the communications profession – including his assessment of what it takes to communicate effectively in the current political and broader social environment -- in the luncheon keynote. Club President Jeff Ballou will host and moderate the conversation with Edelman.
