Last chance for chef’s dinner featuring Pati Jinich

Just three seats remain for a five-course dinner and tequila with chef Pati Jinich, host of PBS’ popular “Pati’s Mexican Table” at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, in the National Press Club's Fourth Estate restaurant.

The member price is $75 per person or $105 per couple for members and $85 per person or $125 per couple for non-members. "Couple” tickets include one cookbook. Tax and gratuity are included in the price.

Jinich, a chef at the Mexican Cultural Institute and a guest on such Food Network shows as “Paula Deen’s Home Cooking,” will showcase the bounty of the Mexican table with creative dishes, including Mexican shrimp cocktail, tomato-zucchini soup, Rodrigo-style grouper and lamb chops with green pipian sauce. The evening ends with cajeta crepes and a taste of aged tequila. Dinner includes beer, wine and tequila pairings for each course and a signed copy of Jinich’s new cookbook.
