Just a few days left to reserve your spot for inauguration tips panel, Jan. 10

Tap the wisdom of veteran reporters who will deliver tips for getting the best stories out of the presidential inauguration at a Jan. 10 program presented by the National Press Club Journalism Institute and the Professional Development Committee.

The program, which costs $5 for members and $10 for non-members, starts at 9.30am on Tuesday in the Murrow Room of the club. RSVP required. Click here to reserve your spot.

Confirmed panelists include:


  • Jonathan Salant, Washington correspondent for New Jersey Advance Media, a former Press Club president who has covered every inauguration since 1989; and

  • Kathy Kiely, formerly of BillMoyers.com, a veteran of Bloomberg News, the National Journal, the Sunlight Foundation, and USA TODAY; and

  • Jason Dick, deputy editor at CQ Magazine, who has covered inaugurations since 2005.



The moderator will be Herb Jackson, chairman of the Press Club's Professional Development Committee.
