Journalism Institute hosts sixth annual golf tournament on May 31 at Woodmore

Pull out your golf clubs and hit the driving range to limber up for the National Press Club Journalism Institute's Sixth Annual Golf Invitational Tournament.

The Journalism Institute plans to host the event on Wednesday, May 31, at 8:45 a.m. at the Country Club at Woodmore in Mitchellville, Md.

The cost is $125 for Press Club members, $150 for individuals or $500 for a foursome. Press Club members must log in to receive the member promotion. Register online. Members must be signed into the site to receive the discount.

The outing, a fundraiser for the non-profit Institute, begins with breakfast at 8:45 a.m. and then a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Lunch at-the-turn is designed to keep you going until the last hole. An awards reception is planned in the clubhouse.
