Fore! Journalism Institute's 7th annual golf tournament nears, Sept. 4

Tee off on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at the Country Club at Woodmore in Mitchellville, Md., to support the National Press Club Journalism Institute in its 7th Annual Golf Invitational.

This great day of golf begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Golfers should plan to arrive by 8:30 a.m. The cost is $125 for Club members, $150 for individual registration and $500 for a foursome registration.

Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. and lunch-on-the-turn will keep you fueled through the last hole.

The tournament is an annual fundraiser for the Club’s non-profit affiliate Journalism Institute. By organizing your foursome, you’ll show your support for the Institute’s scholarship fund, training programs and press freedom initiatives.
