EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler to speak at June 3 Headliners luncheon

Andrew Wheeler, the 15th Environmental Protection Agency administrator, will deliver an address at a National Press Club Headliners luncheon on Monday, June 3.

Prior to his confirmation on Feb. 28, Wheeler served as acting administrator, a position he had held since July 2018, upon the resignation of former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. Wheeler was previously confirmed as the deputy administrator in April 2018.

Lunch will be served in the ballroom at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a Q&A session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $25 for Club members, who may purchase two tickets at this rate, and $39 for all other non-member tickets. Tickets can be purchased online.

To submit a question for the speaker in advance, put EPA in the subject line of an email and send to [email protected]. The deadline for submitting questions in advance is 10 a.m. on the day of the luncheon.

Club members who have a paid reservation to the luncheon and wish to attend the pre-luncheon reception must send their RSVP via email to [email protected] at least 48 hours before the date of the Luncheon. Space may be limited.
