Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo highlights Scotland trip

Join members of the National Press Club, families, and friends on a trip to Scotland Aug. 3-12, for only $2,248.00 per person, double occupancy ($536 single supplement), plus airfare. Roundtrip fares from Dulles to Scotland are approximately $1,300.

The trip begins in Glasgow with a tour of the city and a visit to Inveraray Castle and a Loch Lomond Cruise. Travel to the Isle of Skye, the Clan Donald Centre at Armadale Castle, and to Nairn for a special evening with Scottish music. Tour the Culloden Battlefield and see where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated in 1746. Visit the Glenfiddich Distillery to view the many stages of whisky making and sample a "wee dram." Then drive to Balmoral Castle and the Falls of Feugh for afternoon tea and a talk on Highland life.

On the way to Edinburgh, stop at Glamis Castle, the legendary setting of "MacBeth" and childhood home of the late Queen Mother, and then visit St. Andrews, the "home of golf."

In Edinburgh, in addition to a tour of the city and its numerous sights, the highlight will be reserved seats for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, one of the world's most spectacular shows.

Daily breakfast is included, plus six dinners, as well as the sightseeing fees throughout the trip.
