Club Softball Most Successful Season in Team History

The National Press Club softball team finished second in the Metropolitan Media Softball League playoffs for the first time in team history on Saturday, July 13. After losing to Comcast SportsNet 5-4 for their first loss of the 2013 playoffs, the team rallied to beat Allbritton 3-2 on a walk-off double by Sophia Cope, keeping their season alive.

The third and final game of the day came against Comcast again, which defeated the Press Clubbers 8-3, ending the most successful season in NPC team history.
