NPC Luncheon with Scott Blackmun, chief executive officer of the U.S. Olympic Committee

PLEASE NOTE: Due to health issues, Bob Bowlsby will not be speaking. In his absence, Scott Blackmun, CEO of the U.S. Olympic Committee, will address the Club in his place.

Scott Blackmun, chief executive officer of the U.S. Olympic Committee, will speak at a National Press Club luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Blackmun, who has served as the USOC's top officer since 2010, is substituting for Bob Bowlsby, the commissioner of the Big 12 Conference, who had to cancel his NPC appearance because of a minor health issue that is preventing him from traveling.

The National Press Club luncheon will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. and Blackmun remarks will begin just after 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session. . NPC Members who wish to attend the pre-luncheon reception must RSVP separately to [email protected] no later than 48 hours before the event. Space may be limited. You must have a paid reservation to the Luncheon to attend the VIP reception.
