Internationally known Climatologist Dr. James Hansen (Columbia University Earth Institute) makes the case against building the Keystone XL Pipeline which would transport “dirty oil” from Alberta, Canada, to Texas.
As the deadline nears for President Obama to approve or disapprove licensing of the “Tar Sand” pipeline, Hansen warns that it will be “Game Over” for the environment, today’s children and future generations if the KXL pipeline project goes through. “Governments must act immediately to significantly reduce fossil fuel emissions to protect our children's future and avoid loss of crucial ecosystem services,” Hansen asserts."
