Senator Baucus and Representative Pelosi debated the China Most Favored Nation question and the possibility of revoking the MFN status. The two members of Congress discussed their opposing positions, China's increasing commercialization, and human rights violations in China. Senator Baucus, chair of the Senate Finance Subcommittee on International Trade, favors the extension of MFN, while Representative Pelosi, a member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Foreign Operations, favors revoking MFN. They responded to questions submitted by audience members.
