Actor and gay rights advocate George Takei spoke about LGBT issues at a National Press Club luncheon on October 18th, 2013.
Takei, who became famous playing Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu on the Star Trek TV series and in the franchise's films, has become and outspoken advocate for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people and has also been an advocate for the rights of Japanese-Americans.
