Topics included the Brady Bill, the Assault Weapons Ban, and counter-interpretations of the Second Amendment to the Constitution. Rep. Schumer has been a longtime critic of Mr. LaPierre's organization, the National Rifle Association. Following the debate, the participants took questions from the audience.
