Sheila Johnson, philanthropist and managing partner of the Washington Mystics, talked about the fight against global poverty. She was joined by Dr. Helene Gayle, president of CARE, an organization that fights root causes of poverty in the world's poorest communities, placing special focus on poor women. Ms. Johnson is a global ambassador for CARE and a part of the "I Am Powerful" campaign, a movement to empower women and girls for change in communities around the world. They answered questions from members of the audience.
