About This Video

Run time: 58 minutes

Various officials from the U.S. Committee for Refugees talked about the 43rd annual World Refugee Survey. They criticized the international community for "warehousing" approximately seven million refugees worldwide. Warehousing is defined as placing refugees into camps, which often lack adequate sanitation, security, education, and employment opportunities, for extended periods of time. Following prepared remarks, the officials responded to questions from the audience.
