    Ingrid Betancourt discussed her book “Even Silence Has an End: My Six Years of Captivity in the Colombian Jungle” at the National Press Club on Wednesday, September 22. Ms. Betancourt was abducted in 2002 while campaigning in the Colombian presidential election and was rescued in 2008. Her story provides a first hand account of surviving a physical and psychological nightmare.
