“Politicians vs. Press” Spelling Bee Returns to National Press Club Wednesday, Sept. 21

The legendary National Press Club will once again be alive with laughter, friendly competition, cheers and jeers when the hilarious “Politicians vs. Press Spelling Bee” returns on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Doors open at 6 p.m. with food and drinks and the competition begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets for this event are available now online here. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the National Press Club Journalism Institute which provides training, resources, education and career development programs to media and communications professionals, awards scholarships to the next generation of journalists and continually recognizes excellence in journalism and advocates for press freedom worldwide.

Teams for this year’s competition are being finalized. Previous participants have included: Kaine; Sen. Jeff Flake, (R-Ariz.) Reps.
