Washington Post fitness columnist Vicky Hallett joins 5K

The Washington Post’s Vicky Hallett, one half of the MisFits, the Post’s fitness columnist duo, will race in the National Press Club's Beat the Deadline 5K on Saturday, June 11.

Known as the irreverent columnist with a knack for getting people off the couch and into the gym, Hallett takes questions and gives fitness advice for “Ask the Misfits” column and also edits the Fit section of The Washington Post Express.

Hallett joins a celebrity lineup of CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux and Jill Dougherty, P90X creator Tony Horton, supermodel Kim Alexis, Newsweek’s Eleanor Clift, PBS’s Hari Sreenivasan, Fox News’ Kelly Wright, Real Housewives of DC’s Mary Amons, and America’s Next Top Model contestant BiancaChardei.

The starting line is on F Street outside the National Press Building. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. Come early for a Beat the Deadline warm-up session with Horton at 7:15 a.m. See you at the finish line!
