U.S. presidential race plays big In New Zealand

The United States isn’t the only country closely following the Donald Trump-Hillary Clinton presidential race. It’s often the lead story of the day in New Zealand.

In the latest Update-1 podcast, National Press Club member Victoria Gaither, who co-hosts a radio show in New Zealand, joins Broadcast Committee member Mike Hempen to explain why that country is so interested in the outcome. Gaither says most residents feel they will be either directly or indirectly impacted by who wins, and while they appear to clearly prefer Clinton, it’s Trump who gets most of the attention.

Update-1 is produced by Mike Hempen. The podcast can be heard here on the NPC website or on iTunes, Sticher and Tunein.
