Take a break from leftover turkey at next Lobster Night Nov. 28

By the week after Thanksgiving, you’ll probably be tired of leftover turkey. So for a welcome change of fare, the Fourth Estate restaurant’s next Lobster Night, on Wednesday, Nov. 28, couldn’t come at a better time.

Tantalize your taste buds at the popular monthly event, which will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a a crusty crustacean from the chilly waters of Maine. Members pay $25; non-members $30 for a steamed 1 ¼ pound Maine lobster with coleslaw (or salad) and choice of French Fries or oven crisped new potatoes.

Reservations are requested 24 hours in advance to assure a lobster; phone (202)662-7638. A very limited number of lobsters will be available for those without a reservation.

For non-lobster lovers, the regular Fourth Estate menu will be available. It will feature vegetarian Greek style moussaka, shrimp and squash risotto, or the ever-popular NPC crab cakes. Desserts include some new flavors of locally made sorbet -- pomegranate, lychee and coconut – as well as the restaurant’s signature chocolate and raspberry mousse.
