Space exec to discuss what comes after the shuttle at Sept. 29 luncheon

Elon Musk, chief executive of Space Exploration Technologies Corp., will discuss the future of space flight at a National Press Club luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 29.

The company, widely known as SpaceX, develops rockets and space exploration vehicles and has a contract with NASA to replace the cargo-transport function of the space shuttle.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with the speech beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $18 for Club members, $29 for their guests and $36 for general admission.
