Scholars to explain how literature creates a sense of home Nov. 5

National Press Club member Janice Law will host University of Michigan scholar Michelle McClellan, who studies Laura Ingalls Wilder, and American University professor Angie Chuang Wednesday, Nov. 5 at noon in the McLendon room. The scholars will explain how places in fiction and nonfiction from American prairies to Taiwan cities, create our sense of home. The presentation is sponsored by American Women Writers National Museum and cosponsored by the South Dakota Humanities Council and South Dakota Center for the Book.
