Ring in the New Year with lower prices at the Fourth Estate Restaurant

The Fourth Estate restaurant is hosting a New Year's Eve Dinner on Monday, Dec. 31, with seatings at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

To celebrate the 2012 presidential election, the restaurant will charge the same prices as in 2008, the year of the previous election. Members will pay $55 and nonmembers $65 for a three- course prix fixe menu. Wine pairings can be added for an additional $20.

Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail with Fresh Horseradish Sour Cream Sauce.
Chicken and Veal Country Pate, Toast Points, Pickled Sweet Onions and Micro Greens.
Mixed Greens, Maytag Blue Cheese, Spiced Apples, and Toasted Pecans.
Lobster Bisque with Butter Croutons.

Grilled New York Strip Steak, Celeriac Mashed Potatoes, Mushroom Port Wine Sauce, Spinach Soufflé.
Steamed Lobster with Chive Butter,Wild Mushroom Risotto, Roasted Asparagus.
Seared Duck Breast and Confit Leg with Fresh Pomegranate Sauce, Soft Cheese Grits, Sugar Snap Peas and Carrots.
Vegetarian Roasted Acorn Squash, Wild Rice with Dried Cherries and Apricots, Apple Cider reduction, Braised Mixed Greens and Toasted Squash seeds.
