Restaurant Week: Fourth Estate menu offers a seasonal feast at great price starting Aug. 13

The Fourth Estate restaurant on the National Press Club's 13th floor, will offer a full gourmet menu of seasonal treats for $20.12 at lunch and $35.12 at dinner from Aug. 13 to Aug. 18.

While other restaurants offer only limited choices, diners at the Fourth Estate can choose their three-course meal from the entire a la carte menu. For the fixed price, diners can select a soup or salad, an entree and dessert.

Menu selections feature the best of summer, including heirloom tomatoes, strawberries, watermelon, summer squash and fresh local corn. Entrees include sea Scallops with lemon sauce, basil-infused chicken, lobster risotto, grilled New York strip steak with blackberry demi-glace, veal piccata, North Atlantic cod, and a unique Portobello Napoleon, guaranteed to thrill the most jaded of vegetarian diners. Our unique and delicious NPC crab cakes are also available as will a special seasonal treat _ Atlantic Sockeye salmon.

Desserts range from seasonal, fresh peaches and cream to home-style bread pudding with pralines.

Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Reservations are requested. Call (202)662-7638
