November 7, 2013 | By Gilbert Klein | gilbert.klein@me.com

Fifty years ago, Dan Rather reported the Kennedy assassination story as a young CBS News reporter in Dallas while Marvin Kalb reported on the staggering developments for CBS in Washington.

On Friday, Nov. 22 – the exact 50th anniversary of the assassination – these two legends of journalism will meet on "The Kalb Report" at 8 p.m. in the Club’s ballroom to talk about reporting the unthinkable, the profound impact the assassination has had on America and the life and legacy of President Kennedy.

Admission is free but seating is limited. Members should reserve by calling the Club’s reservation line, 202-662-7501.
