Public affairs heavy-hitters Chuck Todd and John Dickerson headline Nov. 9 'Kalb Report'

The moderators of the two highest-rated and longest-airing public-affairs programs —- Chuck Todd of NBC’s "Meet the Press" and John Dickerson of CBS’ "Face the Nation" —- plan to be Marvin Kalb’s guests on the next "Kalb Report."

For more than 60 years, Americans have tuned in on Sunday mornings to network television for intelligent, insightful discourse on issues of politics and public policy. A proud history, however, does not guarantee future success in a digital world and a dramatically changing television landscape. In the past year, both CBS and NBC have changed moderators of these Sunday shows, bringing in a new generation to carry on the tradition.

Kalb, who was himself the moderator of “Meet the Press” in the 1980s, plans to explore with Todd and Dickerson how these programs are evolving.

The program begins promptly at 8 p.m. and guests are asked to be seated at least 15 minutes ahead of time. Admission is free but seating is limited. Press Club members should reserve by calling the front desk at 202-662-7500.
