Prime rib served up in Fourth Estate, Dec. 16

The monthly Prime Rib Night in the Fourth Estate Restaurant is set for Friday, Dec. 16.

Members pay $27, non-members $32 for garlic roasted prime rib on the bone. The roast is served to your specifications, with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish cream and spinach soufflé.

Diners are advised to make a reservation at 202-662-7638. A very limited number of servings will be available without a reservation.

The regular Fourth Estate menu will also be available, featuring vegetarian sweet potato cakes with Jicama Slaw, wild mushroom stuffed chicken breast, or lobster risotto, among other entrees.

Desserts range from banana cream pie to creamy chocolate and raspberry mousse made in house.

The Fourth Estate is located on the 13th floor of the National Press Building.
