Press Club schedules Luncheon with Navy Secretary Ray Mabus on Wednesday, Oct. 12

Navy Secretary Ray Mabus, the leader of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, plans to discuss the state of America’s sea services at National Press Club Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 12.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $24 for Press Club members (NPC Members may purchase two tickets at this rate) and $38 for all other non-member tickets. While Iran is repeatedly harassing U.S. Navy and Russia plans to deploy its only aircraft carrier off the coast of Syria, Mabus plans to talk about his efforts to build international partnerships to deal with emerging maritime threats.
