Podcast captures Iraqi ambassador’s dinner address to NPC members

Iraq's ambassador to the U.S. says Iraqi forces could not have defeated the Islamic State group without help from the U.S.-led coalition and paramilitary troops. In the newest edition of Update-1, Fareed Yasseen tells National Press Club President Jeff Ballou the battle with ISIS militants has been a transformative experience that has given the country a new spirit. He also describes the press as the “great equalizer” in the struggle to bring democracy to areas where it doesn't exist much, if at all. Yasseen's appearance was part of the Club's new Ambassador Dinner Series.

Update-1 is produced by Mike Hempen. The podcast can be heard here on the NPC website or on iTunes, Sticher and TuneIn.
