OECD to present Economic Survey of U.S. at Newsmaker June 26

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will present its annual Economic Survey of the United States at a National Press Club Newsmaker at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, in the Club's Lisagor Room.

The survey by the Paris-based international organization provides an in-depth analysis of the U.S. economy and offers policy recommendations to promote sustainable economic growth and employment. It also explores policy options to reduce income inequality and poverty.

A special chapter in this year’s report is focused on fostering innovation.

Speakers at the Newsmaker include Richard Boucher, deputy secretary-general of the OECD; Karen Kornbluh, U.S. ambassador to the OECD; Patrick Lenain, head of the U.S. division of the OECD Economics Department; and Wendy Dunn, economist for the U.S. in the OECD Economics Department.

No registration is required.
