NSA Chief Rogers to discuss cyber war at Thursday July 14 Club luncheon

National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers will discuss the continuing cyber security challenges facing the U.S. and the world at a National Press Club Luncheon on Thursday, July 14.

Rogers has said encryption makes it more difficult to intercept terrorist groups' communication and warned that vital U.S. computer networks, such as the power grid, have been infiltrated by hackers which could lead to attacks of significant consequence.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a Q&A session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $24 for Press Club members (NPC Members may purchase 2 tickets at this rate) and $38 for all other non-member tickets.
