NPC series highlighting how social media can drive real-world change starts tonight

Strategists and entrepreneurs who are using social media to make positive contributions to the world will be the focus of a new series, "Social Media 4 Social Good.''

The event premieres today, February 9 at 7 p.m. with host Monica Gray interviewing social media guru Aaron Sherinian of the UN Foundation. Sherinian is widely-regarded as a technological game-changer in the international development arena.

"Social media can have a huge impact on shifting behaviors and improving the programs people count on," Sherinian says. "Communication isn't frosting, it's the cake when it comes to development."
