NEA chairman to speak on 'Creativity Connects' at Sept. 28 NPC breakfast

Jane Chu, chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, will outline her plans for the Arts Endowment’s 50th anniversary activities at a National Press Club Newsmaker breakfast on Monday, Sept. 28.

The 11th chairman of the NEA, Chu will use her talk to launch a number of new initiatives, including “Creativity Connects.”

The breakfast begins at 9 a.m. Chu’s talk will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a question-and-answer session that ends at 10:30 a.m. The cost of breakfast admission is $23 for NPC members, $37 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased online.

National Press Club members who wish to attend the pre-breakfast reception must RSVP separately to [email protected] no later than 48 hours before the event. Space may be limited. You must have a paid reservation to the breakfast to attend the VIP reception.
