Nationals' GM Mike Rizzo to assess 2012 baseball season at May 4 luncheon

At a May 4 Luncheon, National’s GM Mike Rizzo Looks Ahead to a Home Run Season


Nationals’ General Manager/Vice President Michael Rizzo will discuss the baseball season at a National Press Club luncheon on Friday, May 4.

A former player, scout and assistant general manager, Rizzo stepped up to head the team following the sudden resignation of Jim Bowden in 2009. Rizzo will provide a team update, and then look ahead to how see the 2012 season may play out.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. with remarks beginning at 1 p.m. followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets are $19 for Press Club members, $30 for guests of members, and $37 for general admission.
