Planning your first foreign reporting trip is a serious logistical task. There are many things to think about including vaccinations, emergency insurance, in-country transportation and lodging, and, most critically to success, finding a good fixer.
Learn how to plan your trip at a Thursday Sept. 29 National Press Club panel discussion sponsored by the NPC's International Correspondents and Freelancers Committees. The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NPC's Conference Room. Attendance is free for Press Club members and $10 for the public. Tickets can be purchased here.
