Last chance to reserve: CDC Director Frieden to discuss Zika virus at NPC Luncheon, May 26

Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will address the Zika virus outbreak at a National Press Club speaker luncheon on Thursday, May 26.

Please note the new date. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a Q&A session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $24 for National Press Club members and one guest, and $38 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased online here. Or call (202) 662-7501.

Frieden, who has led the CDC since 2009, will discuss the latest research and forecasts, as scientists at the CDC and other leading health-related organizations are working around the clock to better understand and address the virus tied to birth defects.

NPC members who wish to attend the pre-luncheon reception must RSVP separately to [email protected] at least 48 hours in advance. Space may be limited. You must have a paid reservation to the luncheon to attend the VIP reception.
