Kalb Report celebrates 18 years as staple of National Press Club

This Week In National Press Club History

Sept. 24, 1994: The first Kalb Report, produced in partnership with George Washington University’s Global Media Institute, and a staple of the National Press Club for 18 years, is aired from the ballroom. Among the panelists were Donna Shalala, secretary of Health and Human Services, Sen. Alan K. Simpson, R-Wyo. and White House Budget Director Robert Rubin. In June, 2012 The Kalb Report won top honors with a Gold Medal Award at the New York Festivals International Radio Awards competition and received an overall Grand Award.
