Journalism boot camp offers resume critique, other sessions Saturday, June 14

Need some fresh ideas to boost your reporting or editing skills? Need some encouragement for presenting your skill set through your resume? Thinking about turning your skill set into your own freelancing business, but not sure how to start?
Invest a morning in getting that nudge you need to take your career up a notch. A half-day seminar at the National Press Club's Journalism Institute is designed to give you the tools and answers you need to add some punch to your efforts to expand your career options. Join us Saturday, June 14, from 8:30 a.m. through a working lunch that ends at 1:30 p.m.
Club member and editor at Bloomberg Jodi Schneider also will provide one-on-one 15-minute sessions for those who register and wish to have their resumes critiqued by a pro, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The agenda is full of other great sessions to get your creative juices.
