IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman Talks Taxes, April 6

As Americans are completing their taxes, Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Doug Shulman will address a National Press Club luncheon on April 6.

Shulman, now in his third year of a five-year term, will outline his agenda in a speech entitled “On the Horizon: A Vision for the Future of Our Tax System.”

The 47th IRS commissioner, Shulman is responsible for collecting $2.4 trillion in tax revenues.

Lunch will be served served at 12:30 p.m. with the speech beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 for Club members, $29 for guests of members, and $36 for general admission.
