  • How does action in Washington impact schools and colleges around the country?

  • What does the law that replaced No Child Left Behind actually do, and how is it's implementation going?

  • What exactly are the Common Core State Standards, and why do Donald Trump and Ted Cruz hate them so much?

  • How are Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders proposing to improve college access and how much does it mesh with discussions in Congress?

  • What is the "free college movement" and does it stand a chance?

If you've ever asked yourself any of these questions - now's your chance to get the answers from three veteran education reporters. Hear from people who have sat through hearings and waded through the text about the Every Student Succeeds Act (aka the New No Child Left Behind), education and the presidential campaign, and why exactly you should care about a college called Corinthian.

Panelists are expected to be:

  • Lauren Camera, national education reporter for US News and World Report

  • Kelly Field, chief Washington reporter for the Chronicle of Higher Education

  • Alyson Klein, assistant editor of Education Week
