Graham, Woodward plan to speak at Fourth Estate Dinner honoring Kornheiser, Wilbon

Bob Woodward and Donald Graham plan to join join Maury Povich and John Skipper as speakers roasting and toasting this year's Fourth Estate Award Winners, sports journalists Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser, co-hosts of ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption," on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Club members may purchase up to two tickets for the price of $175 each. Other tickets, including those for nonmembers, cost $225. Reservations can be made online.

Wilbon and Kornheiser are the 45th recipients of the award, which recognizes journalists who have made significant contributions to the field.

The gala will also recognize the 2017 Aubuchon Press Freedom Award recipients, people whose work and lives have advanced the cause of press freedom and transparency. In a year when journalists have been explicitly targeted by people and forces that see freedom of information as a threat to their power, the Club is honoring two groups that have been on the front lines of the struggle: The White House Correspondents’ Association and the press corps of Mexico.
