GOP presidential candidate Gary Johnson to address Aug. 19 luncheon

Gary Johnson, former two-term Republican governor of New Mexico and GOP presidential candidate, will speak at the National Press Club on Aug. 19.

He will deliver a speech entitled “Republicans and Social Issues: We are Either for Limited Government -- or Not."

Johnson, 57, the founder of one of New Mexico’s largest construction companies and a consistent advocate for the legalization of marijuana, will tout New Mexican job growth under his leadership.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. with the speech beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $18 for National Press Club members, $29 for their guests and $36 for general admission.
