Entrepreneurship is a popular buzzword, but what does it really mean, especially for today’s communications professional?
Jessica Hirt and Hannes Luth of Wunderbar Media, media consultants, will share their corporate communications and publishing strategies for developing entrepreneurship at the next Communicators' Breakfast on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
The event begins at 8 a.m. with networking and continental breakfast at 8, followed at 8:30 a.m. with the program.
Admission is free for NPC members and $10 for guests. Click here to register.
“Possessing an entrepreneurial mindset is crucial for those who need it to make a living,” says Hirt, a self-described “passionate entrepreneur” and former public affairs specialist in the European Union and business consultant and trainer in Washington. “But it’s also beneficial for anyone who wants to advance their career.”
Today, Hirt, along with her husband, Luth, a successful publisher and media producer, apply their collective entrepreneurial know-how at Wunderbar Media in Arlington. The firm advises freelancers and other self-employed professionals on how to improve their business and enterprise skills to become more productive and market themselves more effectively. It also guides women who work in a variety of industries on a path to professional success.
“It’s not magic,” Hirt says. “If you realize the potential of it and are set on changing your mind to think and behave more entrepreneurial, you’re already halfway there.”
