Fourth Estate Restaurant plans D.C. food truck vendors for wine event

The National Press Club's Fourth Estate Restaurant is planning a D.C. Wine and Food Truck Pairing Dinner on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale: Members, $30, General Admission $35, which includes a six-course tasting menu along with featured wines. Tickets can be purchased online: http://www.press.org/events/fourth-estate-wine-and-food-truck-pairing (for member discount, enter special promo code: foodtruck).

Six of Washington D.C.’s cutting edge food-truck vendors will have their signature dishes paired with wines from the Fourth Estate including The Big Cheese, Go Fish!, Lemongrass Vietnamese Cuisine, DC Empanadas, BBQ Bus, and Curbside Cupcakes.

“Food trucks are such a creative concept,” said Justin Harrison, manager of the Fourth Estate. "They have taken DC by storm, and we want to show that wine and street foods are an incredible marriage."

In addition to food and fun, attendees will be eligible to win a private cooking lesson with NPC Executive Chef Susan Delbert.

"We hope to celebrate the vendors and also introduce a whole group of people to the Fourth Estate Restaurant at the National Press Club,” Delbert said.
