Fourth Estate Award Dinner tickets available online until Tuesday

Tickets to attend this year's National Press Club Fourth Estate Award Dinner will be available online until Tuesday. The Oct. 4 gala dinner will honor Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, co-hosts of ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption," and present them with the Club's most esteemed prize, the Fourth Estate Award. They will be toasted by friends and colleagues Bob Woodward, Donald Graham, Maury Povich and John Skipper.

Club members can purchase up to two tickets for the price of $175 each. Other tickets, including those for nonmembers, cost $225 each. Reservations are required and can be made by clicking here. Contact [email protected] or [email protected] for ticket availability after Tuesday, Sept. 26.

The gala will also recognize the 2017 Aubuchon Press Freedom Award recipients, for work dedicated to advancing the cause of press freedom and transparency. In a year when journalists have been explicitly targeted by people and forces that see freedom of information as a threat to their power, the Club is honoring two groups that have been on the front lines of the struggle: The White House Correspondents’ Association and the press corps of Mexico.
