Former Senate leaders Tom Daschle and Trent Lott to appear at Jan. 19 Book Rap

Former Senate Majority Leaders Trent Lott and Tom Daschle plan to discuss their new book, "Crisis Point: Why We Must -- and How We Can -- Overcome Our Broken Politics in Washington and Across America," at a Book Rap Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 6:30 p.m. in the Conference Rooms.

From opposite sides of the aisle, Lott, a Republican from Mississippi, and Daschle, a Democrat from South Dakota, both served as majority leaders. Their book analyzesg the current polarization of our political parties that has currently made governing so difficult.

The senators cite forces like the permanent campaign, unprecedented political spending, and the 24/7 news cycle; and offer recommendations on how to move forward.

Tickets are $5 for Club members and $10 for the public. The book are also available online for purchase.
