Former National Security Adviser Brent Scowcroft to analyze security challenges facing Obama administration, June 14

Brent Scowcroft, national security advisor to two presidents, will review the security challenges facing the Obama administration at a National Press Club luncheon Tuesday, June 14, during the 24th annual Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation Journalism Awards program.

Scowcroft, who was national security advisor to Presidents Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush, has been involved in military and security issues at the White House level since the Nixon administration.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with the speech beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $18 for Club members, $29 for guests of members and $36 for general admission.
